This Week on the Farm

I can’t believe how well this week’s Scavenger Hunt Sunday topics worked with life on the farm.  Of course, my entire life has been on the farm this week.

Beneath Your Feet:  Okay, so the barnyard is beneath the gosling’s feet, but I was also standing in the barnyard.  Those feet are much cuter than mine.

Capturing Movement:  Moving is the only way you will ever see Cindy Lou, except for when she’s sleeping.

Texture:  I love my Snickers.  He’s such a handsome guy.

Face Your Fears:  This has been a difficult month on the farm, and I’ve really been worried about losing some of my beautiful girls.

Currently:  Today I administered a lot of drugs.

Millie: probiotics, wormer

Annie: antibiotics, probiotics, pain killer

Cindy Lou: probiotics, Pepto Bismol

Snickers: antibiotics

3 cats: Advantage

2 dogs: Frontline Plus

The Old Home Place

This is the farm where my grandfather grew up.  Of course the house is new.  Besides the land, all that remains now of the farm from his childhood are the two barn buildings.

I love that I can see the land my grandfather loved and called home.  I wish I had better pictures from the old days.
